As a Product Analyst at IC Group, you need to have a great understanding of the users and why a product may work for some people and not others. You will figure out the pain points that users have when using the product and try to solve them. You will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, so you need to have an opportunistic and resourceful mindset and an articulate and persuasive personality that others find enjoyable to work with.

Key Tasks

- Product Management
- Utilize various data to identify new profit and growth opportunities and develop strategies
- Performing the initial product analysis to assess the need for any requested changes as well as their potential impact, improving product features and measuring their impact
- Provide oversight and facilitate sprint ceremonies and other meetings as required to ensure the team can meet its goals.
- Evaluating company products and comparing them against industry trends
- Supporting product teams in their product decisions using quantitative data to inform the next steps.
- Working on exciting projects throughout the product lifecycle and directly impacting product strategy and business performance.
- Monitoring the performance of products over their lifecycle
- Identify patterns and trends that indicate how well a product performs on the market, authoring and completing user stories
- Creating reports and presentations about data findings and insights, creating and updating product documentation
- Monitoring the quality and stability of a product
- Operational Support
- Gathering requirements from cross-functional teams
- Shielding the engineering teams from having to address every single customer issue, by filtering out what issues are actual bugs versus user errors and confusion
- Deliver recommendations backed by data to the Product Manager to execute and prioritize.
- Communicating widespread or known issues to the Sales, Engineering and Product Management Teams

Customer Experience:
- Ability to design customer-centric experiences throughout the customer decision journey
- Understand client dynamics and can navigate working with other Agency Partners to create campaigns that meet the client’s goals and strategies.
- Manage and coordinate the resolution of client issues, and brainstorm ways to be more efficient both internally and externally.
Business Acumen:
- Comfort with business strategy, portfolio prioritization, pricing, key performance indicators and financial metrics
- Knows the client’s business, product/service, distribution systems, targets, objectives, politics, and how they go to market, etc.
- Creating & supporting presentations & proposals for C-level executives and brand managers
Technical Skills:
- Ability to go deep on technology trends, architectural questions, stack control points, road maps, and managing development life cycle
- Strong understanding of IS Methodologies, processes and practices, and experience with functional systems analysis, modelling and design.
- SDLC Using MS Team Foundation Server or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Demonstrated understanding of information technology/ information systems and their ability to enable business.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficient at developing long-term relationships, always prepared to act as a consultant and a resource to customers, while being able to identify sales and growth opportunities.
- Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure on-call environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities while ensuring projects are managed within prescribed budgets.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively to a non-technical audience.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Commerce, Engineering)
Can you demonstrate experience proving;
- Creates metrics and monitors them to evaluate if the product direction is making users happy.
- Familiarity with online marketing channels (e.g. search engine marketing, display, social, shopping) is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and competing priorities.
- Critical thinking & thought leadership
- Successful track record in utilizing your influencing & interpersonal skills to drive change.
- Fluent in business process analysis and statistics
Great assets to have would be;
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Commerce)
- IIBAC/CBAP designation an asset.
- Experience with Jira, SQL
Experience Requirements;
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience on application lifecycles in a web-based software development environment.
