Building on the momentum of the football season, Pepsi-QTG Canada created a fun online experience that offered the chance to win prizes that fueled consumers' passion for football.

Pepsi-QTG Canada partnered with EA SPORTS® to create a fun online experience that offered the chance to win spectacular prizing.


  • Drive sales, in-store display activity and website traffic
  • Increase database acquisitions and opt-ins
  • Build the consumer-brand relationship and increase purchase intent
  • Reward consumers with prizes

  • Consumers obtained a PIN found under specially-marked bottle caps on various Pepsi products.
  • Participants registered/logged-in, entered their PIN and viewed a short football animation. Video clips taken from the EA SPORTS Madden NFL 08 video game revealed whether or not they won an instant win prize.
  • Each registrant was also automatically entered into the grand prize sweepstakes.

Thousands of new and returning registrants!
The promotion and prizing played out on consumers' love of the football game and built on the momentum of the football season. And it worked. Many consumers kept coming back to the site to play again and again.
